Training & Certification

As a service to chapter members and the local IT Security community, ISSA Vancouver can serve as a facilitator to encourage course providers to schedule presentations in the Vancouver area. For example, based on local interest, the Vancouver chapter has sponsored several sessions of the CISSP seminars and certification examinations, saving attendees the costs of traveling to other cities in North America.

The International Information Systems Security Certifications Consortium, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization providing certification in information security. Their Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential is well respected in industry.
