Speaker Bio:

Mark Teolis, has been in the data processing field for over 25 years. In 1999 he co-founded Peer1 Network and held a number of positions within Peer1 until October 2007, including CTO and VP of co-location and network. Peer1 Operates co-location Data Centers in 12 cities in Canada, US and the UK, as well manages approximately 25,000 servers as part of its hosting operation, with annualized revenue of over 100 million dollars. In 2007 he founded DOSarrest Internet Security, one of only a handful of companies in the world specializing in a “DDoS protection service”. DOSarrest now provides DDoS protection for Internet e-commerce websites in 7 countries.

On-site registration and networking begins at noon, and lunch will be served at approximately 12:20. The presentation will run from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, to be followed by an open discussion forum. Members and non-members of the ISSA are welcome but space is limited. Cost for the event is $35.00 for non-members, $25.00 for ISSA members and $20.00 for students payable in advance at our web site using PaypalŪ, or at the door in cash or by cheque payable to “ISSA Vancouver”. RSVP to to guarantee your seat. Please note that we require 72 hours notice of any cancellations, or you will be invoiced for the event since we are required to finalize the food orders.
