Employee Lifecycle Management in an R12 World

Abstract:

We will perform a live walkthrough of an employee’s lifecycle including the creation, entitlement and deletion of a user. Several real-world use cases will be highlighted such as on-boarding, provisioning, access requests, workflow, reserve sync and off-boarding. New features of CA Identity Manager R12 will briefly be discussed at the end.

Speaker Bio:

Emrah Alpa has 7+ years of experience in the InfoSec industry, the last 4 being with CA. Having occupied roles in both Pre-Sales & Services departments, he has a multitude of experience in the IAM space. Most recently he has acted as the Lead Architect in the design of a complex IAM solution for a Canadian government organization.

On-site registration and networking begins at noon, and lunch will be served at approximately 12:15. The presentation will run from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, to be followed by an open discussion forum. Members and non-members of the ISSA are welcome but space is limited. Cost for the event is $35.00 for non-members, $25.00 for ISSA members and $20.00 for students payable in advance at our web site using PaypalŪ, or at the door in cash or by cheque payable to “ISSA Vancouver”.
