Business federations must provide security for their day-to-day operations and future initiatives. A comprehensive global security strategy and architecture that incorporates security standards enforces federation security policies and enables critical data exchanges. Craig talks to issues experienced in multinational banking and global professional services environments.

Collaborating with other companies or semi-independent operating divisions during shared ventures or within a multinational operation brings shared security headaches. Companies in a federation are sometimes forced to put up with business partners or divisions who don't have security standards as high as they do. What can you do to ensure you don't get lowest common denominator security dictated by the weakest link?
