The first and most important step in securing your system is understanding your system; the assets you possess and what the risks are to those assets. In ever more dynamic and changing systems, this can often be a challenging and difficult process. In this session we will compare traditional quantitative techniques with qualitative ones, where subject matter experts can rapidly identify risks based on their knowledge and experience. Once we have explored the risk assessment techniques, we will identify how they can be rapidly applied to Canadian businesses and other organizations using freely available tools
